Unpause

Ever since Marshall arrived at the Farhampton Inn the day before the wedding, he and Lily, who were just so happy to see each other, have been on a "pause" on the fight they would have otherwise had concerning Marshall accepting the judgeship without first telling Lily, which affects their planned trip to Italy for Lily's dream job. Marshall does whatever to avoid being alone with Lily when he expects that she will evoke the unpause. He embarks on a new task when he and Lily are eventually alone. But Marshall knows that the pause cannot last forever and that they will eventually have to deal with the issue. Meanwhile, Barney is in a state of inebriation that neither Robin or Ted have ever seen, at a point where he is telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. They figure that this is the perfect opportunity to learn certain things about Barney which he has long not divulged, as well learn the answer to an issue about the wedding that has been haunting Robin ever ...
